Bruce Eckman has been gardening and farming since he was a small boy. He completed four years of Agriculture in High School and one year of Ranch Management in college. He is a Certified Square Foot Gardening Instructor and loves container gardening.
The Farm
The farm was originally owned by Bruce’s grandfather, Joseph Ball. Bruce remembers as a boy visiting the farm in the summer time and helping his grandfather work on the farm. He loved to drive the tractors and help milk the cows.
There is approximately 8 acers of ground, split in half. The east half is a hayfield and the west half is pasture. Located on the south frontage are the Eckman homes, greenhouses and gardens.
Bruce still loves to drive his Kubota tractor!
